Linda Woloshansky – President and CEO

Linda Woloshansky has 28 years of experience as a CEO of four companies.  Her experience includes working for the private sector, school systems, the state of Indiana and non-profits in many different capacities.  Her background includes the development of several award winning programs and systems with investments exceeding $200,000,000.  She is a certified Six Hats trainer, School-to-Work Specialist, Certified Training Consultant (from Ball State University), and has taught at state universities and economic development institutes throughout the country.  Linda has served as a consultant on workforce and board governance and has written numerous articles and made presentations across the country on workforce, education, and economic development.

Miche Grant – Vice President

Miche Grant serves as CWI's VP of Technology, Data, and Learning Initiatives. She holds a Master’s Degree in Workforce and Organizational Development from Valparaiso University, obtained her Bachelors from Indiana University, a Graduate Level Certification in Distance Learning Education from Indiana University, has a Master Level Certification in Career Advisement and is a Certified Training Consultant through Ball State University. She has work in the field of employment and training at all levels of the government from local, state, to national. Roy Vanderford – Director of the Workforce Strategies

Roy Vanderford joined the Center of Workforce Innovations as Director of the Workforce Strategies. Considered a leading expert on workforce board development throughout the country, he has worked in over 35 states to build state, regional, and local strategies to link workforce, economic development, and educational action plans. Roy has served as CEO of three workforce boards including Indianapolis, Louisville (KY) and Evansville (IN). Since the late 1970s, Roy played national leadership and training roles in the workforce development field through affiliations with the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Conference of Mayors, and the National Association of Workforce Boards.

Tamara Stump, Senior Workforce Associate

Tamara Stump has over 20 years of experience in workforce development. At CWI she specializes in Youth Services programs, providing technical assistance to service providers, and also has expertise in policy development and monitoring and oversight. She also is part of the CWI MIS Department, providing support to users of the state-based case management system. Tamara has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Valparaiso University and is a Certified Training Consultant through Ball State University.

Tim Post – WorkOne Technology Manager

Tim Post is a Microsoft Certified professional and received his Associates degree from Purdue University North Central. He has designed systems, provided technical support, developed process and procedural manuals, and has knowledge in every aspect of IT. Tim has designed, implemented, and serves as the technical support for all IT related matters at the 9 WorkOne locations in Region 1. Prior to joining CWI, Tim served as a systems administrator in the workforce development sector with emphasis on field operational support.

Robyn Minton – Vice President Workforce Initiatives

Robyn Minton has over 20 years of nonprofit experience including expertise at the local, state, and national levels. She is responsible for the integration, alignment, and innovation of the state’s Northwest Indiana regional WorkOne (One Stop) Centers. Robyn also provides oversight of the region’s Adult Education Consortium. Previously to joining CWI, Robyn was Program Director at the YWCA in Nashville (TN). At the YWCA, she managed overall day-to-day operations of the state’s largest domestic violence services, resulting in several program expansions and quality improvement initiatives. Barbara Grimsgard – Communications Manager

Barbara Grimsgard manages all awareness efforts related to CWI projects and services. Prior to joining CWI, she served as the Director of Education & Meetings at the Association Forum of Chicagoland, where she managed the association’s educational initiatives, including conferences and tradeshows. She also worked in the convention and tradeshow department for Smith Bucklin & Associates, one of the nation’s largest association and nonprofit multi-management firms. Barbara has a BA in Communications from Purdue University and obtained a Certified Meeting Professional certification.

Jennifer Zatarski – Controller

Jennifer Zatarski comes to CWI with 20 years of corporate accounting experience. She graduated from North Central College with a B.A. in Business Management.  After discovering a passion for accounting while working as a bookkeeper and office manager, Jennifer returned to school to study and successfully pass the CPA exam. She now heads a highly successful fiscal department for CWI.

Crissy Dooley – Executive Assistant

Crissy Dooley has over 10 years of successful business experience and an extensive customer service background. Before coming to CWI, she served as Director of Client Services with Shared Marketing Services in Chicago. Crissy is graduate of Eastern Illinois University and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business.

Stefan Barkow – Workforce Associate, Research and Development

Stefan Barkow is responsible for CWI’s economic research and analysis, and contributes to CWI’s publications. Holding Bachelor’s degrees in both English and economics from Purdue University, Stefan brings a little more art to the “dismal science.” After graduating, he put his well-rounded education to work as a full-time freelance data analyst, writer, and editor for regional and national clients before joining CWI. A native of Northwest Indiana, Stefan uses his skills and experience to continue telling the story of the region he has always called home.

Nicholas Elliott – WorkOne Regional Manager

Nicholas Elliott leads CWI’s WorkOne team and manages multiple WorkOne programs in the region. He works with multiple regional stakeholders to promote career readiness efforts and education and is passionate about community education and volunteerism. Nicholas is personally committed to the conversation around sustainability throughout the region, including economic, social, and environmental sustainability. He holds a BA in Anthropology from Texas State University and a MA in Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago.

Sandra Alvarez – Senior Associate, Employer Engagement

Sandra Alvarez focuses on engaging employers and building resources to help strengthen the region’s educational and workforce systems. She has facilitated CWI’s Community and Faith Based Initiative, Strategic Skills Initiative, and the National Emergency Grant Initiative. Sandra managed the first WorkOne Business Service Team incorporating industry sectors as a way of delivering expert customer service to key regional employers. She previously served as Director of Program Development at the Jane Addams Hull House Association in Chicago. Sandra attended Valparaiso University and Springfield College and is a Certified Training Consultant from Ball State University.
