Need a Tax Credit? Support Local Adult Education Programs - November 01 2011

The Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority through the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) has granted tax credits to the Center of Workforce Innovations (CWI) in order to cover expenses of operating and delivering services through 8 adult education centers in Northwest Indiana.  With federal and state funding on the decline, the sustainability of these needed services relies on donations as well.

Individuals and businesses are urged to contact CWI to learn more about securing the NAP tax credit.  These credits allow donors to support the Adult Learning Centers, while taking advantage of Indiana’s innovative tax credit program, ensuring that their donation goes farther in providing a direct benefit to them.   The NAP credit provides a tax credit on the donor’s Indiana taxes valued at 50%  for a donation $100 or more and allows a deduction on their federal tax form of up to 100% of the donation based on tax bracket.

For further information and/or to receive the Form NC-10 to claim this tax deductible contribution, contact Miche Grant at CWI at 219-462-2940, ext. 30 or at mgrant@innovativeworkforce.com.  For a full list of CWI supported Adult Education Centers go to www.innovativeworkforce.com and click on Adult Education Locations.
